Daily routine

Afro hair is beautiful - but it needs love, patience and a clever routine. No stress, we have a smart daily routine for you that will make your curls shine and still take little time. With the right care, your hair will stay healthy, elastic and easy to manage.

Step 1: Moisture is your best friend (daily)
In the morning, lightly moisten with water or a leave-in spray. This ensures that the hair stays supple and does not dry out. Work in a moisturizing product (e.g. aloe vera gel or a leave-in conditioner) to maintain the moisture balance throughout the day.

Step 2: Gently detangle (every 2-3 days or as needed)
Use your fingers or a wide-toothed comb to work from the tips upwards. This prevents hair breakage and preserves the curl structure. Tip: Do it when your hair is slightly damp! If knots have formed, a detangling spray will help.

Step 3: Don’t forget to seal (daily or as needed)
Use a natural oil or butter (shea or mango) to lock in moisture. This will protect the hair from drying out and provide more elasticity. This step is especially essential in the winter months.

Step 4: Protective hairstyles for everyday use (as needed, preferably change daily)
A bun, braids or a loose puff reduce frizz and save time! Protective hairstyles prevent hair breakage and tangles less. A simple hairstyle is particularly worthwhile at night or on days when you're very active.

Step 5: Night care for the win (every night)
A silk or satin scarf will prevent hair breakage and keep your curls smooth. Alternatively, you can sleep on a satin pillow. This step reduces split ends and maintains moisture in your hair.

With this routine, your hair care will be stress-free and your curls will thank you! Little effort, maximum effect. Over time, your hair will become stronger, less prone to dryness and easier to style.
