At AFROSTYLE, we are more than just a hair care brand – we are part of the community and firmly believe in supporting local talent and initiatives. We look back with great joy and pride on last weekend, when we had the opportunity to support the young players of team K23 Borter/Frei at this year's Gossau Class Football Championship (GKFM) 2025 .
This traditional school tournament, held on June 21st and 22nd, 2025, and bringing together an incredible 89 teams, was a celebration of sportsmanship and community spirit. Our protégés, the talented second-graders of team K23 Borter/Frei, achieved something extraordinary: they won the tournament!
It was inspiring to see the enthusiasm and team spirit these young champions displayed on the field. Every pass, every goal, and every moment of unity demonstrated that true strength lies in togetherness. This victory is a testament to their hard work, their cohesion, and the outstanding support of their coaches and parents.
And that's not all! Thanks to their outstanding success at GKFM 2025, the K23 Borter/Frei team has now qualified for the prestigious UBS Football Cup ! Another exciting stage awaits our young athletes, and we at AFROSTYLE are incredibly proud to continue supporting them on this journey. We will continue to cheer them on and accompany the team on their adventure to the UBS Football Cup!
